The Desserich family has won the 2006 University of Cincinnati's Goering Center Family Business of the Year Award for its achievement in community service and management.

With a history of more than 12 successful entrepreneurial ventures since 1956, the Desserichs have continued to enhance ethical operations, industry expertise and community involvement, most recently developing charitable projects in association with the United Way and on their own with the purpose of helping those less fortunate.
