Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber wins 2001 Good Housekeeping Good Buy Award

Glenwillow, Ohio (CNW) -- The Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber was recently named a 2001 Good Buy Award Winner by the Good Housekeeping Institute (GH Institute). The Spot Scrubber is a portable, hand-held shampooer that is designed to quickly and easily remove spots and stains from carpet, upholstery, or stairs, utilizing its deep cleaning, rotating power brush and extra long power cord. It is available at major retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

According to the Good Housekeeping Institute, the Spot Scrubber was selected on the basis of its ingenuity, value and exceptional performance and because it represents one of the most innovative solutions to save consumers time, money and aggravation. It was one of thousands of new products tested and reviewed by the Institute as part of their Sixth Annual Good Buy Awards program. Each consumer product tested had to meet or exceed the following criteria: Satisfy a well-established household need; Be innovative in technology or design; Be affordable to Good Housekeeping readers; Perform well in GH Institute tests.
