The Carpet & Fabricare Institute has gained the reputation of putting on the best program for professional cleaners in the industry, and this summer they team up with Professional Carpet & Upholstery Cleaners Association to create an even larger event.
Program topics will cover every aspect of creating, running and enjoying a successful cleaning company. Mold-related topics will include legal changes affecting our industry, environmental issues to take into consideration when cleaning, and emerging opportunities. Hot profit centers will cover add-on services in areas from hard surfaces and rugs to specialty fabrics and textiles, and how to price your services so they increase your overall numbers. Team topics will look at how to identify and create happy, sales-generating crews.
Family topics will examine how to contribute to successful marriages and family time while dealing with a growing (or struggling) company. Marketing topics cover creating turnkey new business, repeat business and referral systems. Technical topics will look at important IICRC standard changes and hands-on spotting and specialty work. Service topics will cover "no-fail" happy client creation and successfully handling prospects on the phone to get the job.
