The Disaster Restoration Contractors 2002 Spring Conference and Trade Show was held in Toronto, Canada, April 26-27. Highlighting the list of operational concerns was the ongoing issue of mold remediation. A number of sessions addressing the issue were held, including seminars on insurance claims and liability, the microbiology of mold, a review of current remediation standards and changes in accepted measures, among others.

More than 250 delegates attended the conference, which supports the work of disaster restoration professionals in both the United States and Canada.
