Dri-Eaz Products and 3M have produced what company officials describe as “a significant advancement in dehumidifier filtration.” 3M Filtrete High Air Flow (HAF) filters are being placed in Dri-Eaz DrizAir dehumidifiers to capture more dirt, dust and debris from incoming air, helping improve indoor air quality and extending the life of the machines, the company said.

The 3M Filtrete HAF filters keep the dehumidifiers cleaner by using an electrostatic charge to physically attract and hold airborne particles, the company said. The filters also contain an antimicrobial agent to inhibit the growth of many biological organisms
