MoreWILMINGTON, Del., Dec 16 (Reuters) - DuPont Co. said on Monday the executive heading the corporate team involved in planning the separation of its textiles division will retire at the end of the year.
DuPont Vice President Alan Titus, 62, will retire Dec. 31 after serving in various positions, including integration of a nylon business into DuPont in the early 1990s.
Wilmington, Delaware-based DuPont has already announced plans to cut 5,500 jobs and shed its textiles and interiors unit, a maker of Lycra fabrics and Stainmaster carpets.
