Research recently conducted by DuPont for its Teflon Advanced Carpet Protector products found that consumers are more interested in carpet protector than many professional carpet cleaners believe. The top reason given by consumers for not having protector applied, according to DuPont, is that it was not offered.
Research recently conducted by DuPont for its Teflon Advanced Carpet Protector products found that consumers are more interested in carpet protector than many professional carpet cleaners believe. The top reason given by consumers for not having protector applied, according to DuPont, is that it was not offered.
Other findings include: most customers are satisfied with their professional carpet cleaning services; almost 1/3 of consumers who had not had protector applied expressed interest in using it in the future; and pre-treated/protected carpets do not appear to be a sales barrier, as only 6 percent of consumers cite this as a reason for not using carpet protector, according to DuPont.
