Training for a recent class of FCITS certified carpet inspectors took place in Dalton, Georgia in July. Graduating inspectors under the tutelage of Henri Carr had the privilege to tour the Beaulieu and Shaw Carpet Mills in addition to an eye opening tour of professional testing laboratories in Dalton.

Suppliers, manufacturers, carpet inspectors and various agencies send not only carpet for testing, cleaning equipment and detergents are also tested at such laboratories as well. Overall, it was a great class and a valuable learning experience for all attending.
