Conroe, Tex. - April, 2006 -- Italian-based Filmop S.r.l. recently acquired HPC Cleaning Innovation, LLC following an exclusive distribution agreement between the two companies. The newly formed HPC Cleaning Innovations, LLC (HPCC) / Filmop Group will be headquartered in Conroe, Tex.

"We are excited to more fully address the needs of our American customers through this new partnership with HPCC," states Paulo Scapinello, exports manager for Filmop S.r.l. "We have already committed resources for improving the building and warehouse space, as well as upgrading overall operations and training."

Filmop is no stranger to branching its business outside its own country. For years it has joined into partnerships with exclusive distributors all over the world, including other European countries, Canada, South America, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

With the recent acquisition of HPCC, Filmop continues its tradition of adapting to local needs and business climates. "Filmop understands what makes a strong presence in another country," states Frank Zoche, president of HPCC. "Their strategy is to keep the existing structure in place, but provide the financial resources to focus attention on the expansion of the Filmop line. Their vision creates an even stronger domestic company that is able to expand sales through increased resources and a company headquarters willing to move quickly to meet customer needs. They have already illustrated their long-term training commitment as plans are on the table for Filmop University, a full training facility located outside of Houston."
