HAYWARD, Calif. (Jan. 20, 2009) ---- Fabric Restoration Service Team (FRSTeam), one of the largest national fabric restoration specialty cleaners, has enjoyed significant and ongoing growth since it began signing licensed independent franchisees throughout the United States in 2006. In fact, the company’s growing franchise locations and combined sales have now earned it a place among the fastest-growing franchises in the country, as FRSTeam has been named to the Entrepreneur magazine “Franchise 500” as well as the publication’s “Top 50 New Franchises” for 2009.

One of the most comprehensive and authoritative rankings for franchises, the 30th annual “Franchise 500” from Entrepreneur for 2009 lists FRSTeam as number 416 in terms of overall location and revenue growth among all of the qualified franchise businesses in the country. FRSTeam’s growth also earned it the rank of 35 in the publication’s list of the top 50 new franchise businesses in the U.S.

“We are extremely proud to be named to the Franchise 500 and Top 50 new franchises for 2009 by Entrepreneur, the authority on franchise businesses and opportunities,” said Jim Nicholas, president of FRSTeam. “This national recognition illustrates the success of our unique model for licensed independent drycleaners to offer fabric restoration services to the insurance industry and damage mitigation contractors.”

Most recently, FRSTeam announced plans to aggressively expand its business into New England and upstate New York. The company, which provides comprehensive restoration services for fabrics and textiles damaged by smoke, fire, water and mold, is currently interviewing drycleaners that are interested in expanding their operations by adding a fabric restoration division under the FRSTeam brand and network. The company’s marketing program, service model, accounting systems, and operational assistance with production formulas, plant layouts and processing plans enable it to offer drycleaners a proven model for expanding into fabric restoration, which is one of the fastest-growing segments of the drycleaning industry.

FRSTeam signed its first licensed operator in August of 2006, and since then it has added 25 licensed businesses throughout the country and expanded its coverage to include most of the continental United States.

Additional information on FRSTeam is available by calling (510) 723-1008 or visiting www.FRSTeam.com.
