GP announces new pump technology

General Pump introduces HT, a new patent-pending technology in pumps. Called HT for both "high temperature" and "high tech," the new technology is available on the company's line of Emperor pumps.

The Emperor line features high-tech packing and high-temp valve design, the company said. The pumps can withstand temperatures up to 185 degrees, and can even run dry for several hours, according to General Pump. The Emperor is available in several sizes for a variety of high-pressure applications.
