Bensenville, IL, June 13, 2006 - Disaster Kleenup International, Inc., today announced that it has updated its Internet-based resource to assist homeowners, commercial property managers and owners, and government officials in preparing for and responding to catastrophes.

For information on how to properly prepare for hurricanes, how to receive clean up assistance and restoration support and much more, visit DKI's website at

The site, created in the wake of Hurricane Katrina last year, assists property owners and managers in taking inventory of their situation after the storm has left, and identifies sources of appropriate relief. The website also offers numerous tips for property owners and managers on how to prepare weeks and months before a storm hits, what to do when a storm is identified as being on a path to potentially affect one's property, and how to protect one's own personal safety. There are also helpful links to aid agencies and other resources, such as FEMA and the American Red Cross, that can deliver necessary aid.

Dale Sailer, president of Disaster Kleenup International, says, "There is a big difference between devastation and tragedy. Proper preparation cannot eliminate property damage or financial loss, but it can minimize them and help save lives. There is no reason why property owners can't manage storm risk, and we believe our website can help provide property owners with critical resources necessary to protect their families and assets."

For those seeking to prepare before a storm, DKI also works collaboratively with property owners and managers to develop pre-disaster plans to further mitigate the costs of future catastrophes.
