IICRC appoints new chairman of the S520 Standard

IICRC Standards Chairman Barry Costa announced today the appointment of Jim Pearson as the new chairman of the IICRC S520 Consensus Body. Pearson will oversee the final stages of completing the Second Edition of the IICRC S520 Standard and Reference Guide for Professional Mold Remediation.

Pearson has been a member of the S520 Consensus Body since the beginning of the rewrite of the document. He has chaired several Chapter Committees for the S520 including the Inspection and Preliminary Determination Chapter and the HVAC Chapter. He previously participated in the writing of the 1st Edition of the IICRC S520 and Co-chaired the Safety and Health Chapter.

“We are looking forward to Jim’s leadership and working with him in the completion of the document,” said IICRC Standards Chair Barry Costa.
