The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration
Certification announces the formation of the Consensus Body Standard Committee
for the S600 Carpet Installation Standard and Reference Guide.
The committee, co-chaired by James Mullins of Shaw Industries and Barry Costa of Aspire Educational Institute, is responsible for drafting the carpet installation standard.
“This committee is made up of people directly and materially affected by the standard,” said Costa. “After reviewing more than 100 written applications for membership consideration for the consensus body, we are confident that we have a strong committee representing all areas of the carpet chain.”
