IICRC Prez Appoints New Certification Board Division Coordinators, TAC Chairpersons

Vancouver, WA -- Lee Zimmerman, President of the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has appointed three new Certification Board Division Coordinators in the areas of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration and three new Technical Advisory Committee Chairmen in the areas of Color Repair, Carpet Inspection, and Marble and Stone.

Claudia Lezell, Certification Board Inspection Division Coordinator, became involved in the flooring industry in 1983. She is certified in seven IICRC practices and has served as a full-time hard surface and carpet inspector since 1995. Lezell’s writing has appeared in ICS Cleaning Specialist magazine. Currently, Lezell works full time as a hard surface and carpet inspector.

Bob Wittkamp, Certification Board Cleaning Division Coordinator, has been in the carpet cleaning industry for 30 years. He is a former IICRC President and currently chairs the IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician Technical Advisory Board. An industry expert, Wittkamp writes a monthly column for ICS Cleaning Specialist magazine.

Joe Dobbins, Certification Board Restoration Division Coordinator, is a 19-year veteran of the cleaning and restoration industry. In addition to holding certification in all areas of the IICRC, Dobbins also achieved status of Master Cleaner, Master Restorer and Senior Practicing Carpet Inspector.

Jack White, Color Repair Technical Advisory Committee Chairman, has worked in the cleaning and dye industry since 1977. He is IICRC Regional Supervisor for Texas and an approved IICRC instructor of Water Damage Restoration, Carpet Cleaning and Odor Control.

Mark Violand, Senior Carpet Inspector Technical Advisory Committee Chairman, began his career in the flooring industry in 1977. He is a member of the IICRC Board of Directors and an IICRC approved instructor. He holds multiple IICRC certifications, participates in several industry organizations and writes a column for Commercial Floor Care magazine.

Fred Heuston, Marble and Stone Technical Advisory Committee Chairman, is founder and president of NTC Enterprises, Inc., a marble and stone consulting company. He has written two books and produced instructional videos on the subject, has written columns for Commercial Floor Care magazine, and has appeared as an industry expert on The Discovery Channel and HGTV.
