IICRC rouses enthusiasm at Surfaces 2003

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification saw more than 200 registrants visit its booth during the Surfaces 2003 convention and trade show in Las Vegas, Jan. 28-31, surpassing last year’s total of 125. Registrants received IICRC-continuing education credits (CECs) for attending the show if they registered at the booth.

“I’m very pleased with the turnout this year,” said IICRC Vice Chair and Marketing Chair Ruth Travis. “I really appreciate all the help from those who staffed the booth – traffic was very heavy at times and the questions were more technical than in the past. This show is becoming a highlight for inspectors, cleaners and restorers nationwide.”

The IICRC incorporated a newly designed listing of certification categories and advanced designations at the booth, along with an automatic scanning device for registrant data collection.
