VANCOUVER, Wash. – September 21, 2010 – The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is now accepting resumes or proposals for an examination consultant. As the organization continues to grow, the Executive Committee and Board of Directors have elected to seek a professional to provide services of a credentialing professional (psychometrician) to support IICRC’s program development of specific new examination and certification. Applications will be accepted for consultants from interested persons or firms.

The examination consultant will play a crucial role representing the IICRC, as it continues, with participation from the entire industry, to develop new certifications and examinations for inspection, cleaning and restoration. Job responsibilities include: assist in the development of a specific new examination and certification; have access to a psychometrician; be familiar with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accreditation process; understand exam conversion and importation; assist IICRC in separating the examination process from training; and, be familiar with computer based testing.

Interested parties may visit the IICRC website for more information about the job opening and how to apply. Individuals interested in applying need to submit a cover letter with fee requirements, resume/curriculum vitae, details of how the scope of services requirements would be met and references. Companies should submit additional information, which can be found in the job description. Applications are due October 15, 2010 by 5 p.m. Pacific time and should be submitted to Tom Hill, IICRC Executive Administrator, tom@iicrc.org.
