IMACC has launched its new Web site at www.imacc.net. The new site has "Industry News," "National Storm Situation Summary," "Distance Learning," and "Members" sections. The site offers free education and training for IMACC members and insurance companies.

In other news, IMACC, in cooperation with Dri-Eaz, ignited a controlled fire in the Dri-Eaz National Training Facility Demonstration Home in Nashville. Once the fire was extinguished, restoration contractors waited 24 hours before beginning aggressive mitigation to demonstrate how time affects loss severity.
