The two-day intensive program, held April 4-5, was hosted by the Textile Cleaners of America and co-sponsored by ICS Cleaning Specialist and Commercial Floor Care magazines was met with great enthusiasm.

145 people came to Broomfield, Colo. to learn how to achieve a high level of success in commercial textile care. Renown speakers and presenters included: Larry Cooper, Aaron Groseclose, Jeff Bishop, Dr Michael Berry, Carey Mitchell, Doyle Bloss, Barry Costa and many others.

The presentations covered topics including: Textile performance as it relates to maintenance and cleaner liability; Inspections: How they affect your maintenance program; Hands on demonstrations of various carpet cleaning methods; Niche marketing; Add-ons; Managing of the commercial environment through proper cleaning, and repairs, as well as commercial pricing and sales presentations.

An evening of hands-on work inspecting and cleaning the offices and various areas of the Omni Hotel and writing a maintenance plan was also included. This was an awesome experience. Teams were lead by experts to determine the specific needs of the facility and spotting problem areas.
