The International Society of Cleaning Technicians (ISCT) is ready to “Revolutionize Your Business” during its Convention, Trade Show & Annual Membership Meeting, July 10-14 at the Williamsburg Marriott in colonial Williamsburg, Va.

Thurs., July 12 kicks off with a welcome from ISCT CEO Bill Yeadon, executive director Linda Kanouse, president Jerry Kessie, and the introduction of ISCT’s board of directors. Werner Braun, Carpet and Rug Institute president, will deliver the keynote address.

Educational sessions for the day include: Financial Planning, Matthew Tuttle, MBA, Wealth Advisors; Marketing with Howard Partridge, Phenomenal Products; Rug Cleaning with Lisa Wagner, K. Blatchford’s Oriental Rug Cleaning; Carpet Inspection with Cindy Sayre, Shaw Industries, and Jerry Kessie of Floorcovering Technologies; and Restoration with Joe Arrigo, Arrigo Construction. The day concludes with the grand opening of the trade show floor.

On Fri., July 13, education is at the forefront with: the Great Debate with moderator John Downey, Downey Enterprises; Interior Detailing: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles with David Allen, Dave’s Detailing; Tile and Grout Cleaning presented by Hydro-Force; and Leather Cleaning with Bridgepoint.

Several “Eye-Opener” sessions start the day (7 to 7:45 a.m.) on Sat., July 14, with “Management-Marketing Blitz” courses on: Marketing: Brochure Design with Ruth Travis, Interior Care; Sales: Technician Sales Training with Scott Warrington, Scott Cleans Seminars; and Management & Marketing: Paperwork for Successful Operations & Marketing with Peaches Decker, Decker Enterprises. General session topics include: Value-Added Service Technician with Jeff Cutshall (sponsored by Jon-Don); Revolution Will Be Brought to You Online panel discussion moderated by Evan Kessler, ICS Cleaning Specialist publisher; Introduction to IICRC Applied Structural Drying with Jeff Bishop, IICRC Certification Board Chairman; and Water Damage and Mold Remediation panel discussion with moderator Bill Yeadon, ISCT CEO.

The convention concludes with a “Bid Farewell” live auction party with auctioneers Sonny Bass and Jim Carfield, and a grand prize drawing for a U.S. Products Ultimate.
