MoreMay 19, 2011-Lincolnwood, IL, USA-ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, is now accepting entries for its distinguished ISSA Innovation Award program. In its second year as an online program, the annual competition allows only distributors and industry end-customers-including building service contractors and in-house service professionals-to vote to determine the cleaning industry’s most innovative products and services.
The online ISSA Innovation Award program is open to all manufacturers and companies that provide related services throughout the cleaning industry worldwide. The deadline for entries is June 30, 2011. Voting will take place July 15 -September 30, 2011.
Award winners will receive a trophy and recognition during ISSA/INTERCLEAN® North America 2011, which takes place October 18-21 in Las Vegas, NV, USA. In addition, ISSA will provide entrees with promotional tools, such as online marketing, and, in addition to at the show itself, winners will receive publicity online and in ISSA print publications.
“The benefits of participating in this program are really twofold,” says ISSA Sales Director Anthony Trombetta. “Participants not only get an opportunity to potentially win an award, but the online format means voters-distributors and end-customers-are really looking at their products. For instance, last year, the ISSA Innovation Awards Program logged more than 62,000 views and real-world leads. That kind of exposure is a reward in itself.”
Each entry includes up to five product photos, a product description, a Web site link, a product literature PDF upload, and contact information for voters to request more information. This year’s program also includes enhanced online sharing features, which will allow voters to share links to program entries via e-mail, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
