In keeping with its goals to expand its worldwide leadership role and recognition, the International Sanitary Supply Association Inc. (ISSA) has formed an agreement with AFIDAMP, a Milan, Italy-based association for the cleaning and maintenance industry. The agreement is for a minimum duration of three years.

According to the ISSA, this alliance represents a major step forward in ISSA's globalization plans. ISSA has also announced that it is holding discussions with other associations in Europe and on other continents to form other similar alliances.

Furthermore, ISSA and AFIDAMP will co-sponsor educational programs and seminars in each other's languages to promote and enhance each other's respective brand names. Both associations will select existing educational programs for adaptation and use in Italy.
