Lincolnwood, IL, USA-ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, and the Canadian Sanitation Supply Association (CSSA) have further strengthened their long-standing alliance by announcing a new joint-membership program. CSSA companies wishing to become ISSA members will be able to take advantage of a 15 percent dues discount starting with 2009 membership. ISSA companies wishing to join CSSA also will be able to discount their dues 15 percent in 2009.

“We are happy to have reached this joint-membership decision,” said CSSA Interim Executive Director Mike Nosko. “This will remove any confusion that our members may have regarding ISSA membership.”

The membership arrangement replaces previous agreements between ISSA and CSSA and was developed to help promote the added value of being a member in both associations. Both associations also have agreed to investigate other synergies that could lead to greater benefits for their respective memberships.

“We greatly value our alliance with the CSSA and hope this agreement will only strengthen our relationship moving forward and increase the value provided to both our memberships,” said ISSA Executive Director John Garfinkel.
