Lincolnwood, IL, USA-The organizers of the ISSA/INTERCLEAN® family of tradeshows-Amsterdam RAI, Afidamp, and ISSA-have removed the November China event from their 2008 schedule. ISSA/INTERCLEAN and its management remain firmly committed to China and the Chinese cleaning market and will proceed with the next ISSA/INTERCLEAN China exhibition in 2009. Next year’s show will feature an expanded executive summit and seminar program, supported by a variety of local and regional facility service provider associations.

While Macau has grown rapidly and become a popular destination for all of Asia, with an increasing demand for quality cleaning, the show organizers believe the region is not yet ready to view the city as a business center.

“The choice of Macau as a location for an international industry event was ahead of its time,” said ISSA Executive Director John Garfinkel. “But we still strongly believe that southern China is expanding into an attractive market for our exhibitors and ISSA’s members. Therefore, you will see ISSA/INTERCLEAN return to this region of China in the future.”

In addition, ISSA will continue plans to host member events in the southern Chinese provinces as well as other efforts throughout the country.

“We have many strong alliances with local associations in the southern region, and we are committed to working together to create additional benefits for our combined members in these areas,” said ISSA Director of Asia-Pacific Services Lionel Koh.
