The ISSA has selected 24 building service contractors and in-house cleaning departments from the United States and Canada to participate in the Cleaning Industry Management Standard Certification Case Study Program.

The 24 organizations will be the first to undergo individual assessments in hopes of becoming certified to the cleaning industry’s new consensus-based management Standard. The ISSA will then promote those organizations that achieve certification in specialized case studies, targeting the purchasing and facilities management communities.

Wisconsin-based K-tech Kleening Systems, Inc. was one of the companies selected for the program. “This case study program is a tremendous honor to our organization,” K-Tech President Craig Kersemeier said. “It allows our company to do an internal audit or our processes and procedures, while being put into this elite group in our industry. These high standards translate into better service and value to our customers.”
