ISSA slates Antimicrobial Workshop for November

The International Sanitary Supply Association, American Chemistry Council and Consumer Specialty Products Association are cosponsoring the 5th annual Antimicrobial Workshop.

LINCOLNWOOD, Ill. -- The International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) is sponsoring a three-day Antimicrobial Workshop, Nov. 6-8 in Arlington, Va. The workshop will feature 25 speakers from ISSA, as well as the American Chemistry Council (www.cmahq.com) and the Consumer Specialty Products Association (www.cspa.org).

The 5th annual Antimicrobial Workshop will feature leading antimicrobial registration experts from the federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the legal community and private industry.

The first day of the program will focus on the various registration requirements for disinfectants, sanitizers and other antimicrobial products. Day two provides an in depth review of major agency policies regarding labeling, efficacy testing, data requirements and treatment of confidential business information. The final days will be a review of antimicrobial regulation at the state level. Time will also be given toward exploring the European Union Biocidal Products Directive, which will have a significant impact on the sale of antimicrobial products in Europe.
