The International Sanitary Supply Association, Inc. (ISSA) has chosen Networld Exchange, Inc. (NEI) as its strategic e-commerce partner to provide ISSA members with the opportunity to generate great benefits through Internet commerce.

NEI is a provider of business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce services in the foodservice/ hospitality industry. This agreement marks the firm's first foray into the sanitary supply industry.

ISSA's Board and staff conducted interviews with numerous prospective providers looking for the one that could meet the Association's expectations. Only NEI met all the criteria: A partner that would complement ISSA's ability to assist members with content and community by providing e-commerce solutions for all members; ability to integrate purchases into the back-end of members' existing computer systems at reasonable costs without change to current data systems and without the need to establish a commoditized industry database; sales-driven focus that will help ISSA members provide unique services and value for their customers rather than a purchase-driven bidding model; private exchanges rather than public marketplaces; excellent financial backing, high credibility, and alliances with other substantive firms within the technology industries.; and more.
