MoreJanCentral’s alliance with NextDoor Networks will provide a state-of-the-art technology infrastructure where facility owners/managers can post cleaning and maintenance requests and qualified service providers can respond with proposals. This alliance positions JanCentral as the most sophisticated “matching” service on the Internet for janitorial, cleaning and related services. JanCentral will deliver notifications of new service requests to contract cleaners and other providers via email, fax, PDAs and other communication devices. According to JanCentral, the site has an average of more than 20,000 visitors – and more than 1,000,000 hits per month. About 60% of the traffic is end users (a majority of which are contract cleaners), and the rest is distributed primarily among manufacturers and distributors.
