May 22, 2007 -- Jon-Don announces the acquisition of their tenth store location-the third such addition in a busy 2007-in Seattle, Washington. By joining forces with Seattle’s Preferred Chemicals and Equipment, Jon-Don will continue to expand their geographic presence and offer West Coast customers additional value added service.

Preferred is currently run by its President and CEO, Dennis Bruders, a well-respected leader in the industry. The company started out in the early 1930's as Ace Window Cleaning and evolved over the years to become Ace Cartozian/Custom Care, one of the largest carpet cleaning and restoration companies in Washington. This business eventually became Preferred Chemicals and Equipment, offering products and services to fire and restorative drying contractors and carpet cleaning professionals.
