Hamilton, OH-September 16, 2008-Planning for the future, Kaivac, Inc., is relocating to multiple buildings totaling more than 200,000 square feet.
The new facility will become the company's new corporate campus in Hamilton, OH.
It will house the company's business and corporate headquarters, which will relocate over the course of the year, as well as manufacturing center, which has already moved to the new campus setting.
The firm has been in its present location for more than ten years. "We have actually been working out of two different buildings for several years," says Tom Morrison, Kaivac's vice president of marketing. "Now we will have our own campus for all of our business operations."
Morrison adds that the company also sees this as an expansion move. "We anticipate expanding our office, as well as research and development and manufacturing operations in the future," he says. "The new facility will help us accommodate future growth."
Kaivac developed and introduced the No-Touch Cleaning system in 1997. With this system, a chemical is applied to surfaces to be cleaned, which are then rinsed, removing contaminants so they can be vacuumed-up using the machine's built-in vacuum system.
The system has become increasingly popular in a variety of industry segments. Recently, studies presented at the Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI) reported that the no-touch cleaning system leaves surfaces more hygienically clean than conventional cleaning systems, helping to protect the health of building occupants.
"We are aware that some manufacturers are feeling the current slowdown in the economy, however we are doing very well," adds Morrison. "This move reflects this and our optimism for the future."
