Hamilton, OH – June 1, 2009 - Kaivac, Inc., developers of the No-Touch Cleaning system for more hygienic cleaning, has recently promoted Terry Donald Schawe to be the company’s new chief operating officer (COO).

Schawe, who has worked with other companies in the Ohio area where Kaivac is based, has had ample experience handling a variety of financial duties as well as managing office and building operations.

He has also assisted companies in developing their inside sales and service departments so that they can better respond to customer needs.

“The role of the COO is becoming increasingly important,” says Tom Morrison, Kaivac’s vice president of marketing. “The COO plays a key leadership role in executing company strategy, especially in a growing and expanding company such as Kaivac.”

A graduate of Miami University, Oxford, OH, Schawe says that Kaivac has become a “fixture” in Ohio and is known as one of the state's most innovative and growing companies.

“I’m very proud to be a part of this organization,” he says. “Kaivac is as much about protecting health as it is about making cleaning easier and more effective, and I think this is more important than ever right now.”
