About 100 people in the cleaning and restoration industry came together in Las Vegas on Monday, January 27 to see the grand opening of the IICRC’s Global Resource Center, a 20,000 square foot piece of property located about 3.5 miles from the center of the Las Vegas strip.
This second round began Dec. 6, 2013 and will conclude on Jan. 20, 2014.

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has announced that the revised draft of S500 is now available for a second round of public review and comment, according to a press release.
Nominations for the seven open seats will be accepted through Dec. 10, 2013.

The International Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Council of Association (IICRCA) today announced it will reopen nominations for its 2013-2014 IICRCA Board of Directors, according to a press release.
The program is a 16-week, web-based course that provides instruction on successful sales behaviors and strategies for restoration professionals.

Violand Management Associates (VMA) announced that the IICRC has approved 2 Continuing Education Credits in the cleaning/restoration, or inspection, or master categories for its Sales Force Development program, according to a press release.

The IICRC today has announced the election of three new members joining the 12 incumbent members to comprise the 2013-2014 Board of Directors, according to a press release. Elections were held during the IICRC’s October shareholder meeting in Vancouver, WA.
The Instructor Maintenance Requirement Program was recently refined in an effort to assist instructors to complete their requirements while also allowing them more time to teach their courses throughout the year.
