L.A.U.R.A. holds monthly meeting

The Los Angeles Unified Remediators Association held its February meeting at Klean-Rite Distributors, Inc. in Van Nuys, Calif., Feb. 4. L.A.U.R.A. is an association committed to advancing the levels of knowledge and professionalism in the remediation industry.

Matthew Sanders, president of L.A.U.R.A., announced plans to form additional chapters in major cities across the United States. L.A.U.R.A. also plans to have a booth at the Connections Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas, Nov. 4-6.

The evening's keynote speaker, Dr. Kevin Strange, CMR, ESA, RMI, of EFI Engineering and Fire Investigations, addressed mold remediation sampling techniques and result interpretation, after which the floor was opened for questions.
