Mohawk Industries is joining flooring industry leaders for a national television network DIY workshop.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Flooring industry leaders Crossville Porcelain Stone/USA, Mohawk Industries (NYSE:MHK) and Lumber Liquidators said they will join forces with national television network DIY-Do It Yourself Network to present its new workshop, "Flooring-Wall To Wall," scheduled to premiere in second quarter 2002.

DIY's "Flooring-Wall to Wall" workshop is a five-part miniseries that will take viewers through all aspects of selecting, installing and maintaining new flooring for a home-remodeling project. From matching lifestyles with flooring selections, to step-by-step instructions for installing various types of flooring and helpful tips on maintenance and repair, the workshop will cover wood, tile, carpet, linoleum, and mixed media flooring designs and installation.

DIY-Do It Yourself Network is part of Scripps Networks category television networks, the architect of Home & Garden Television. DIY focuses on the do-it-yourself home enthusiast, providing in-depth demonstrations and tips found both on-air and online. Headquartered in Knoxville, Tenn., with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta and Detroit, DIY is wholly owned by The E.W. Scripps Company (NYSE:SSP), which also operates Home & Garden Television (HGTV), the Food Network and Fine Living, a new network to launch in early 2002.

DIY is distributed to more than 10 million U.S. households and can be seen on DirecTV, EchoStar's DISH Network satellite TV systems and on select cable systems around the country. Its programming can also be seen internationally in Japan and the Philippines.
