More than 40 restoration professionals and contractors from North America recently learned how to locate and safely deal with mold and sewage in residential and commercial buildings during a three-day course held at Dri-Eaz’s Center for Advanced Restorative Drying facility.
Led by Jim Holland and John Banta of Restoration Consultants, the coursework included: an overview of microbiology; techniques to safely search for mold and sewage damage; effective ways of returning structures to pre-loss conditions; slide presentation of real-life cases; pressurization and air movement; building and structural considerations; accepted procedural standards, including IICRC standards; and documentation.
To attend the Sept. 7-9, 2000 Mold and Remediation Training course, call Dri-Eaz at (800) 932-3030, or visit the company’s web site at www.dri-eaz.com.
