Munters appoints Leo national accounts manager

Nancy Leo has been named national accounts manager for Moisture Control Services (MCS), a division of Munters AB. MCS’ global division offers complete services for water and fire damage restoration and remediation, and for temporary climate control in construction, industrial, surface preparation and coating, and preservation applications. Munters AB is a publicly owned company, based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Leo, who has nearly 30 years of service in the field of property loss restoration, will be responsible for directing MCS’ marketing and sales initiatives with a focus on the disaster recovery market. She will be based in Munters’ Glen Cove, N.Y. office.

Previously, Leo was owner of Nancy Leo & Associates, a firm that provided consulting, project management and oversight for national insurance carriers on losses through companies such as CNS Management, InStar Services Group and Restoration Resource Group.

Prior to forming Nancy Leo & Associates, she served as vice president and northeast regional manager for BMS CAT. Her responsibilities included developing this territory through sales, marketing, and opening a new operations center based in New York for the entire northeast. Leo was instrumental with the CAT team’s successful response to a variety of properties affected at Ground Zero after the 9/11 attacks.

Leo earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Long Island University and has certifications in 30-hour OSHA construction health & safety, 16-hour mold remediation, dry cleaning, lead abatement and fall protection. She resides in Glen Cove, N.Y.
