The new International Trade Association ICRA is well on its way. The affiliation agreements have been sent to all the participating associations. The by-laws are all in order and approved. The SCRT board approved all that is required to be a part of the organization just days ago through an online meeting. The budget for SCRT was approved through the same meeting. During the budget meeting there was a motion and a second to pay the first year’s dues to ICRA by SCRT from the reserve fund. This was passed and became part of the budget for 2012. The dues for ICRA are $50 per person. During this first year, while the organization is getting started and benefits are being developed, SCRT members can be a part of the organization and help promote and bring ideas to the board of directors. Elections will be held in April to seat the permanent board of directors to replace the interim board that was originally set to get the association set up and started.
