HOUSTON, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nextgen Communications Corp. today announced the Board of Directors and a majority of shareholders have approved the change of the company's name to Home Solutions of America, Inc. The corporate name change will become effective December 23, upon the expiration of a regulatory notice period.

Commenting on the name change, Chairman and CEO Frank J. Fradella stated, "Our new name, Home Solutions of America, appropriately describes the residential services strategy that we have developed. We expect to selectively acquire strategically based companies that will serve as regional platforms, upon which we will build an integrated provider of services to the home that will enhance and protect the value for the homeowner. These services will include the remediation of indoor air contaminates such as mold, fire and water damage restoration, air-duct cleaning, and carpet/upholstery cleaning. Once we have established our regional presence through acquisition, we expect to capitalize on the internal human resources we have and use organic growth as our next market expansion instrument."

The company is currently negotiating the acquisition of several residential services companies located across the United States.
