MoreMINNEAPOLIS -- Three more Advance brand dealers have met Nilfisk-Advance's standards to achieve AAA certification. According to the company, the dealers join a growing list of dealers offering best management programs; customer service, parts and maintenance programs; and delivery systems in the floor care industry.
The three dealers announced by company president and CEO Christian Cornelius-Knudsen, are HP Products, Indianapolis, Ind.; the Fitch Company, Baltimore, Md.; and Jefferson Supply Company, Charlottesville, Va.
According to Jack Barrett, Nilfisk-Advance director of Dealer Service Development, all three dealers exemplify the company's focused approach to customer service.
"In 1998 we formed a Service Council that includes company staff and independent dealers," Barrett explained. "The Council's objective was to write a set of standards that would match Nilfisk-Advance's commitment to customers, and those standards would become the operational procedures for all Advance equipment dealers who choose to take part."
Cornelius-Knudsen announced this year's recipients at the ISSA/Interclean USA Exhibition, Convention and Educational Conference, held Oct. 16-19 in Orlando.
According to Barrett, the company during last year's ISSA/Interclean announced the first nine dealers in the US and Canada to gain the AAA certification. "Today, we have a total of 18 AAA certified dealers, including Fitch, HP Products and Jefferson," he said.
In order to achieve AAA certification, dealers must meet 40 specific criteria in six areas: Management Requirements, Customer Information, Parts Deliver, Service Delivery, Technical Capabilities and Planned Maintenance. "To do that," Barrett said, "is a major, major achievement."
