MoreFour individuals and 16 associations own the IICRC. Each individual has a vote and each association has one voting representative. These people are very dedicated, hard working individuals who volunteer their time and work diligently to make the best decisions they can for you, the registrant. They do not receive any pay for the many hours they contribute. The reason I tell you about these people is because I have been very proud to work with them for more than 10 years. They don’t often get the credit or the recognition they deserve.
Also in last month’s column, I discussed how I would like to open better lines of communications with you. The IICRC is in the process of looking into an area on its website where you can let us know how we are doing. Until then, please use the names and phone numbers of the association representatives located at the end of this column. They are your contact with the Board. Please let them know your concerns. Also please let them know when you feel they are doing a good job.
