DENVER – May 29, 2009 – The Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Association cleaned the two Denver Ronald McDonald Houses in the course of the last month as a donation of over $10,000 to benefit families who have children who are in local hospitals and Children’s Hospital.
PCUCA currently has 90+ members in the region and in the last month 12 of our member companies donated their time, equipment and trained personnel to properly clean and restore the carpets in the Ronald McDonald Houses. Three member suppliers have donated all of the products used in the cleaning jobs.
The PCUCA Member companies chose to give back to their community and support the efforts of the Ronald McDonald House.
The Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Association (PCUCA) is a 34 year old Not for Profit Organization that was formed to develop the Science of the Cleaning and Restoration Industry. The organization hold regular workshops and certification classes to teach technicians and owners the best available information for cleaning and maintaining carpet and upholstery properly. Organized in 1976, the PCUCA currently represents more than 90 companies in the Denver region.
