Seven professional carpet-cleaning companies from the Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Association volunteered their equipment, time and labor May 22 to clean the Denver Ronald McDonald House. This was a great opportunity for PCUCA and its members to give back to their community, and giving to an organization like the Ronald McDonald House is very special.

The Ronald McDonald House takes in the families of sick children who are getting care at Children’s Hospital in Denver. These families come from all over the country and the Ronald McDonald House provides them with a temporary home and support while their children are being cared for. This is just one of more than 210 houses across the nation and the world. The Denver house has been serving the community for more than 25 years, and PCUCA was honored in being asked to take part in providing a service for a charity that has done so much for the community.
For questions about the PCUCA or the Companies who volunteered, contact Jillian Olson in the PCUCA office at 877-447-2822 or email her at jolson@meetingsandevents.com. PCUCA is a 32-year-old, regional professional non- profit trade organization, with 100 member companies that provide education, certification and continuing education for its members.
