Terry Smith has been appointed vice president of Water Removal Technologies, a newly formed division of Freezedry Specialties. The new division, created to deliver new products to the water removal industry, focuses exclusively on the restoration of contents rather than the structure.

Michael Dougherty has been named CEO of Venturi Technologies. He previously served Allied Waste Industries as executive manager.
