Poulos joins Sapphire Scientific

April 19, 2011 – Prescott, Ariz. Steve Poulos has joined Sapphire Scientific as account manager. Steve is responsible for all east coast distributors of Sapphire products.

Steve has over 30 years of experience in the cleaning and restoration industry. For the last 20 years, Steve has served as a top IICRC-approved Certified Master Textile Cleaner and Master Restorer instructor in the U.S., Australia and the U.K. Several thousand individuals have completed his courses and have benefitted from his expertise in the technical and business aspects of the industry.

Steve has also served in several key industry associations. For six years he held a position on the Board of Directors with the Mid-South Professional Cleaners Association and served as the Executive Director during their reorganization period. Steve was the Regional Editor for Cleanfax magazine for five years and also served on the Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Institute of the Restoration Industry Association. He is a current member of the National Upholstery Carpet Cleaning & Restoration of Australia.

“Steve brings extraordinary knowledge of the industry to Sapphire,” said Bob Kline, President of Sapphire. “His deep understanding of the needs of distributors and the customers they serve has already made him an invaluable part of the Sapphire team.” Steve started at Sapphire on March 22.
