2010 Team Cleaning Seminars Announced
February 20, 2010
(BOISE,
ID) Large-scale cleaning requires a systematic approach to achieve optimal
productivity, quality and environmental health. Concepts4, in partnership with
ProTeam®, will offer several two-day High Performance Team Cleaning®
seminars in 2010. The comprehensive courses cover the need-to-know details that
make a Team Cleaning program run smoothly. Custodial supervisors, facility and
operations managers, sales executives, CEOs and other attendees will benefit
from hands-on training and exercises with floor plans and a complete facility
set-up.
The
2010 High Performance Team Cleaning seminars will be held on: April 22-23 (Thursday-Friday) in Las
Vegas, NV at Paris Las Vegas; May 19-20
(Wednesday-Thursday) in Chicago, IL at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare; and Oct. 12-13 (Tuesday-Wednesday) in Las
Vegas, NV at Paris Las Vegas.
“I
have spoken to, taught and worked with over 4,600 organizations over the past
18 years about the application of the Team Cleaning system into their
operations,” says Jim Harris, Sr., seminar leader and CEO of Concepts4. “I, as
many others, have come to the conclusion that this is the best cleaning system
to absorb the most stringent demands for high performance cleaning that face
our industry today.”
Team
Cleaning is a system designed to address the productivity and consistency
problems of zone cleaning. In Team Cleaning, workers become specialists in four
well-defined tasks, including light duty and trash, vacuuming, restrooms, and
utility work. The specialist is then routed through a building on a set
time-schedule with specific work assigned.
“Ultimately,
workers are motivated,” says Harris. “They know what they’re supposed to do.
They know how long it’s going to take. They have the right tools. Then, they
can create greater efficiency by modifying the system to work better for their
environment.”
Team
Cleaning came onto the commercial cleaning scene in the late 1980s, after the
innovation of the lightweight backpack vacuum by ProTeam dramatically improved
the efficiency and productivity of cleaning. The invention shortened the time
it took to clean both carpet and hard floors. A backpack vacuum in a cleaning
system can cover an average of 10,000 sq. ft. an hour compared with the average
2,857 sq. ft. a traditional upright covers.
Attendees can save on both the seminar and the stay with a
package special, which include one
Team Cleaning seminar registration, a two-night stay at participating hotel,
and breakfast, lunch and a snack on both days. Packages save attendees an
average of $100 on accommodations. Early
bird registration, 30 days prior to each seminar, offers an additional $100
savings off the standard price. Multiple
discount savings yield a bonus $100 discount for each additional registrant
from the same organization.
