ACAC Executive Meeting Hosts IAQ's Finest
March 3, 2010
Phoenix, AZ – The American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC) held their annual meeting last month and welcomed a “staggering” number of indoor air quality professionals currently sitting on their certification boards.
“We had 23 states and over 1200 years of IAQ-related experience represented in one room,” said Charlie Wiles, Executive Director at ACAC. “That’s the kind of experience that keeps us on the right track, and lets us know we’re moving in the right direction.” Today, a total of 124 IAQ professionals sit as board members for ACAC certifications.
Among other things, the Executive Meeting was held to satisfy the business, accreditation and psychometric requirements needed for all ACAC certifications. ACAC currently offers 9 third-party accredited certifications with more to come.
ACAC is a non-profit certifying body founded in 1992 and operates independent, third-party accredited certification programs. ACAC certifies more than 5,000 professionals in the United States, Canada and overseas. ACAC certification programs are accredited by the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB).
