American Sanitary Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Easterday Janitorial Supply

San Francisco (Business Wire) -- American Sanitary Inc., a privately owned distributor of building maintenance supplies and equipment headquartered in Cary, N.C., has signed a letter of intent to acquire Easterday Janitorial Supply Co., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABM Industries Inc. Easterday's revenues exceed $40 million per year, including intercompany sales to other subsidiaries of ABM.

With the addition of Easterday's statewide capabilities in California and offices in Nevada, Oregon, Texas and Washington, AmSan will own and operate a coast-to-coast and border-to-border janitorial product distribution network with over 60 branches serving customers in more than 30 states. In conjunction with AmSan's acquisition of Easterday, AmSan will be named a preferred provider of janitorial supplies and equipment to American Building Maintenance, the nationwide janitorial service subsidiary of ABM.
