Amtech Lighting Acquires Maintenance Business of SLI, Inc.

San Francisco, Calif. (Business Wire) --The Amtech Lighting Services subsidiary of ABM Industries Inc. has acquired in a cash transaction substantially all maintenance operations of the SLI Lighting Solutions subsidiary of SLI, Inc. SLI is primarily a major international manufacturer, distributor and marketer of illumination products, including lamps, fixtures, ballasts and lighting assemblies.

With annual revenues of more than $120 million in year 2000, Amtech Lighting will now operate more than 30 branch offices nationwide from headquarters in Anaheim, California.
