ASCR recognizes new restorers at annual meeting

The National Institute of Disaster Restoration, a division of the Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration, recently designated 30 professionals in the restoration industry as Certified Restorers.

The newly certified professionals were recognized at the ASCR annual convention in Savannah, Ga., March 11-14.

Certified Restorers must have more than three years experience in the restoration business; complete a program that includes 50 hours of instruction on various topics; write a formal paper; complete an ethics exam; participate in a restoration seminar; and pass a comprehensive exam.
