ASCR tabs speakers for 57th Annual Convention

The Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration has made several major changes for its 57th Annual Convention, slated for Feb. 12-16 in Palm Springs, Calif.

MILLERSVILLE, Md. -- The Association of Specialists in Cleaning and Restoration (ASCR) has made several major changes for its 57th Annual Convention, slated for Feb. 12-16 in Palm Springs, Calif., a full month earlier than previous years

ASCR also renamed its annual convention and exhibition "Solutions -- The Education Summit," reflecting the ASCR Foundation's focus on education for all aspects of the industry.

The convention will address the issues of fire, water and mold remediation, specialty rugs, business management, indoor air quality, as well as provide information on the clean-up and remediation projects in New York and Washington, D.C.

In addition, the foundation will sponsor a golf tournament on Feb. 12 at the Mesquite Golf and Country Club. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California. Cost is $140 per person or $500 per foursome.
